This isn't the sequel Croteam's been working on. This is being built by an independent developer just for GC and PS2. It would be nice if they brought it out for PC too since FPS games on consoles suck.

The cartoon font and graphics are a little childish for my tastes.

I'd definitely go for the PS2 version (whenever i get the $ to buy one) just because i like the onlie concept so much.

The PS2 version will have online play as well as additional characters for the multiplayer mode. "Hold the Flag" and "Pass the Bomb" game will be available for four player match-ups on Gamecube, and eight players on PS2.



am i the only one that's even remotely excited about this feature? i mean sure, the game will probably blow chunks on the console, BUT, this is probably a little bit of foreshadowing for what's to come with online play in the NEXT GENERATION of serious sam..

Hmm, well capute the flag is about capturing a flag.....abd holding th ebomb is prolly not about capturing flags, or bombs for that matter. :shifty:

it's pass the bomb, and the assumption is that one person gets the bomb,
and he has to 'shoot' it to another player. whoever has it when it explodes
dies...

Its only 20 bucks so I'll probably be picking it up. Sure it looks a little cartoonish but, eh, its something to frag with and its newer Sam so why not. :oooo:
