Hello to my Serious Sam friends :wave:

Im curious too know what settings yall play with.
I play with 1st person view.
I use NO mouse Acceleration
And have my Sevsitivity on 26% :oooo: (Sevsitivity may be spelled wrong) :lol:

Hey bud.

Well, I use first person, default crosshair, sensitivity set at approximately 35%.

For the new gun selection setting, I use "only if better"(although sometimes this sucks because if you land on a pistol it always changes to double pistol).

Also, I use WASD for movement, Tab as knife, and right-click for shotgun.

Except for the Sam specific settings, I&#39;ve used this setup and the same model of mouse (the old wedge shaped 3-button Logitech Mouseman-yes, no wheel) since at least Duke Nukem Atomic Edition&#33;

1st person (I try 3rd sometimes, but not much)

Weapon switch only if stronger
Mouse Sensitivity 34%

Movement-
forward is middle mouse button
left is ,
right is .
back is M
crouch is N
jump is space bar

Weapons
Next Weapon is /
Knife is Mouse right button

it was spelled wrong heres how you spell it Sensitivity.

anyway i play first person view, third person veiw is cheap.
i play with mouse accel on, sensitivity at 78.

Some folks think that all you do with 3rd person is look around corners. Of course while you&#39;re doing that someone is sneaking up behind you and blowing your head off. I use third person to keep the red spray of blood out of my eyes.

Weapon show = on...I can&#39;t remember what I have in my hand either.

Always wondered how some of you changed to the shotty so fast. The right mouse button is a great idea.

I use 3rd person
Default cross
Change weapons if stronger
Mouse sense = 25%
All movements are default

I get burned by picking up the second pistol also. :bandhead: I think I am going to try the &#39;never change&#39; option for a while. Some great ideas.

I think people have misunderstand the concept of 3rd person. Once I start using 1st person, I have trouble going back to 3rd because the size of everything is so much smaller and its more difficult to "flow." What I mean is: it all depends on what you are used to and the actual gains of 3rd are relatively small on our "level of play" compared to the bigger impacts relating to the choices people make in choosing weapons, (ex rockets and grenades), and what their ping is.

I think Eph and I are of the most obvious 3rd person players and we obviously get some benefits that 1st person players don&#39;t have. I learned many of my tactics from Eph in the first place. When we used to play Lost Tomb, he would wait for me around corners and being the noob I was I often fell for it. I started using 3rd more and trying to play games with him and eventually I was able to kill him a few times. :YAY:

I shouldn&#39;t have made that post on spelling, now I am paranoid. :/

Yeah, I agree with everything being smaller with 3rd person. With my laptop, it&#39;s really hard for me to do it. So I just stick with 1st person.

turn skins off, or you may have the gold skins installed, you need to delete them,
or if you see a set of eyeballs shooting at you, that is what they are.

no weapons set up on buttons....that&#39;s cheap :angel:
