Hey all. For those of you who don't know there is a player about called chynalink (i think that is how you spell it). Now first things first i have NOTHIN personal against this guy but he is good to the point of cheating.

I was in a game last night and was winning 15 frags in a 20 frag limit game. He came in and totally owned me. He left at 19 frags while i was left trailing on 16. I mean this guy was unstoppable. I stood no chance against him.

Now i know i have nothing to shout about when it comes to playing (for those of you who have played me) but i think i am getting worse when it comes to playing sam. Getting owned too many times is not much fun. I could mention lots of names but i am not going to start a war here.

This raises serious questions of playing in the tournament with the rest of you guys as i dont mind loosing but loosing to the point of totall humiliation is just embarrasing as well as letting down my whole clan.

I feel bad about wearing reaper tags when i cant play for sh*t

dont feel bad about it that has hapened to me 2 i was at 16 by myself in yodeller i knew i was going to win then someone joined and dominated me and i got 18 i still think you should play in the tourney just dont let it get to you :thumbs:

Chyl is one of the better players on the circuit. He's not cheating.

This will hapeen to you again and again until you have improved
your skills. All you can do is practice, take demos of games and
watch the player who was owning to see how he did it.

Hell, I've be playing for a couple of years and DD still owns me :thumbs:

Chyl is good, but he gets lagged, i havent met one )Camper( that played bad. DD is good but he has the cable advanatge.

yeah man, unfortunately with sam, if you have more experience than
someone, you can easily own them. There are tons of experience levels.
A good enough player can kill the competition before they armor up or
get weapons, that's how they catch up so fast. Don't let that bother you,
instead play, and that will be you one day.

I suppose your right. But he is a darn good player. I mostly play on the UK and Europe servers as the 2 gamemecca servers cause me a bit of lagg in the US.

Still practice makes perfect i suppose.

Chris, the tourney we have planned is just a game with all reapers.
This is only a clan thing just for fun and nothing special. :)


There will be no screenie posted in the official screenie section,
only in the privates. ;)


Oh and Chyliniak is a very good player and it´s fun playing Chyl "the flying rocketman" in yodeller :rofl: :jammin: :drink: :wave:

Demos help out alot, they made me see how others play, what tactics they used and stuff.
Anytime u wanna practice just PM me and i'll teach u some trix!

yeah, he is great. his clan all play 1.05 sam on european servers,
difficulty set to normal. you can rename your sam directory,
reinstall it, then you have both versions. less ping/lag on 1.05,
and with normal, if you are armored up, then it takes more
than a spam or two to kill you.

ummm, forget the videos, they are too short.
record demos of players like dangerous dan, or
if you see anyone doing severe ownage, hit escape
and then record demo. watch it after the game,
you can see what different players do with the +
key. some are experts with rockets, but the best
players have the ability to pass the crosshair over
you and shoot with shotty automatically, causes
maximum damage....

dont worry about that dude. He is a really good palyer. You see, what I do when playing him is invis/camp/snipe/spam and attempt to win that way =)
or you can always cheat :shifty:

Yep...don't ever feel too bad about getting smacked about. I've been playing for over a year and a half and still get spanked. Some guys out there have the skills and the system specs just to make you wanna' shyt. :bandhead:
And as for the tourney...don't worry about how you do....it's all gonna' be about having fun and playin' together...
