Hi all,

I am installing a new GFX card and one of the requirements is a power suplly with at least 250 Watts.

I was wondering where can I find how much my power supply's wattage is.
Thanks

If you bought your computer within the last couple of years (NEW) and dont have one of those mini lan boxes then you should be fine

Hi!
A PS is a piece of hardware!
And yes depending on the manufacturer there should be a sticker with wattage on it!

unless its a server or you have 4 hard drives and 2 cdroms you dont need over 350

well, I got good news and bad news.
The good nwes is that I have a power supply. The bad news is that it's 200W Max Output
The requirements for the GFX card are 250W.
What do I do now??
Spend even MORE money and get a new power supply
or send the card back
OR tweak somkething?

250 watts isnt worth a carrot, you will need at least 350 watts, but would recomend 400-500 watts, you have to take into acount the hard drives/roms/usb devices/ect  [/b][/quote]
Not neccessarily true. Dissectional and I both have mini towers with 220 power. I run the G-force 5600 and Diss runs the 5950, plenty of power. It's quality, not just wattage ;)

I'd get a new ps. $50-60 you can get a 400+ watt one. Check newegg, thermaltake calling you. :)

My computer won't even boot with anything less than a 350 watt supply. I have a 450 watt Antec.
