my gemini axispad stopped working in the middle of a game (emulated breath of fire, visual boy advance) my usb ports wont even detect it most of the time and when they do detect it it tells me its an unknown device any help plz?

my system is a dell inspiron 5100 2.66 ghz 512 ram radeon mobility 7500 vid card with 32 megs ram 40 gig hd (hitachi) dvd/cdrw combo drive.

ummm, sorry, but it sounds like buy a new one.
you can try calling them if they have a warranty,
if not, take it apart, clean anything obvious & put it
back together. since usb does not recognize it,
sounds like a bad contact somewhere inside it.

assuming you get the same results on all usb ports, it is time to take it back

my controler does that some time, its errrrummm, a gravis gamepad pro (PS1 style)
all i do to fix it is switch usb ports, its never failed. some times the plug comes loose but somtimes it just stops working for no reason.
it sounds like yours was just kinda broken from the factory. i would take it back and demand satisfaction! *bring a dueling glove
