just an update, i have both (through an "upgrade" :oooo:)
there is some differences in the mice, but not a lot.
i had to turn the sensitivity down in windows for the mx700,
but it felt about the same in sam. the knife action feels faster.
of course there is no cord, and at times the cord would skew the
movement of the prior mouse. it's expensive, but may be worth
the extra $20 over the mx500. Both are much better than
the explorer intellimouse. I do use the intellimouse software,
but with the latest version they have taken out the programmable
keys per program feature, now it is all or nothing...
