Not sure from looking at it, but are most of those message sent errors? I was getting a couple and was afraid my account was hacked and spammers were trying to use my account to send messages. (The messages said mail could not be sent from my account because to the "to" address was not valid).

I changed my password and it stopped.

i agree jim, it pisses me off yet out gov't refuses to deal with it. i think the uk has the best laws and maybe someone from there can eleborate on them for us. i say we start a campain spamming all the politicians so they can feel what we feel. lets all just keep forwarding this crap to out congressmen. actually create a list of all polidicks and just forward every spam we get. :thumbs:

i get the same thing and message but what they are actually doing is usung your name but if you look at the message source, it's not being sent from your pc.

I bought the teacher/student edition of Office 2003. I mainly bought it for Outlook 2003 after reading reviews of it spam filtering. I followed a recommended routine at the beginnning.

I think I started at moderate. Accept all emails from my contact list. Used it this way for about two weeks. Adding any emails to the safe list that got filtered and adding bad ones to junk mail filter. After those two weeks I moved the filter to high and now about 98% of spam get filtered into my junk folder. I don't think I've had one good email sent to junk, but still give a quick look before deleting the contents of the junk folder.

In those filters, I think you can set them to delete also. Maybe that way it would throw it away for you, and you don't see it?? :hmmm:

yeah, yeah, i figured out that it is a problem with the email address,
i probably shouldn't use mx as it also stands for mail exchanger,
i think some domains are using that as a default to dump error messages
