If i can i will in a heartbeat, but the tower is a long ways away so and i dont know if that makes a difference

No. For gaming wireless/satelitte is worse than dialup because of the delay between your PC and the tower/satelitte.

I don't think it wil be worse than 28KBs Dial-Up though!

You'd be surprised. Although downloads are fast with satelite, your ping will be well over 1000 in any game.

satellite is out, but I assume that you are talking about line-of-sight wireless.
if the speed is faster than 56k you should be able to play games on it, as it
doesn't have the huge latency involved with satellites.
take a look at http://www.dslreports.com/comments/1866/10
heck, review the site for the provider you are looking at. they
indicate game pings of <90 ms which is better than dsl or cable...

that is a great idea JIM but really expensive...&#036;350 installation and &#036;65 per month...HE&#33;&#33; no, keep in mind that im paying for the internet by myself (Stupid a&#036;&#036; step dad doesnt want the internet)

uh, i don&#39;t understand though, there are not going to be any wireless solutions that don&#39;t require lots of money up front... so why this thread? :hmmm:
