You not notice that your refresh rate goes to 60Hz in games?

Mine doesn't do that. I thought it was only a 2K problem.

Ok I am a dumbass
But it is openGL games(I don't play many) that it drops to 60, directX defaults to 75 or 85. Sp1 bumped the directX games a little but it is still not right you can still end up back at 75 and they did nothing to the 60hz for OpenGL. Hmmmm...I wonder why...
Anyway I have this fix that works perfectly. Run it once and it detects card and monitor and you can adjust the settings it picks as optimal or leave them alone. I like the fact that it is not a background program. It detected my stuff no problem and it has a restore feature if you decide to go back. I have it loaded in my clean ghost image so I tend to forget about it.

I've been using Powerstrip to fix it.

where can I change the refresh rate of my monitor? Have XP home ed. Just wondering. The puter at work, the monitor flickers with the light, we have florecents that are 60Hz. Thinking if I change the refrest rate, it won't happen anymore.

Display Properties click advanced then on the monitor tab choose the one you want.
