Darnit to heck (I apologize for the harsh language) but I finally get all my chores done and was a good boy enough to play on Tuesday night....and spend 45 minutes getting the cable modem to initialize....play for a half hour, and wonder why no one is talking...only to look up and see no lights on the surfboard, save for a flashing power light! I was so pissed. I have a cable-guy bro-in-law, who's supposed to get someone testing the line to see if it's their problem, or the silly modem. Anyway, when it seemed I dropped off rudely, I was cut off against my will. Maybe it saw how badly i s0ck with shock combos, and was trying to do me a favor. :hmmm:

Free Styler FINALLY got the router to work....

well, over a dozen phone call over the last month and nothing done. :bandhead:

last night I told them either fix it or I&#39;m dropping them.

why not go with DSL? thats what i use and i have NO problems with it...and youve seen my pings so it is obviously running well, in fact, last night i was connected to one of Atari&#39;s TDM servers in 2k4 and had a 12 ping the whole time, was like LANin all over again

What are the transfer rates??

For my cable, it&#39;s 256 up and 1.7 down. for DSL they only offer 128 up and 1.5 down, or 256 up and 754 down, but that&#39;s &#036;15 more and &#036;10 more than cable.

I have no problem with DSL I used it fo 4 yrs :thumbs: Cable is where its @
money vers speed. BUT you have to put up with the hasle of getting it right.
I had the same problem as Pure when they first hooked it up called them every day till they fixed it. (packet loss)(too many people on one node)(up to 500)I knew the phone # by heart :P Your paying forit. make them fix it&#33;&#33; :devil: Also make them deduct or credit you back for the hasle I did :thumbs:
