PC chips M841 mobo upgrade

since I have upgraded my puter to a AMD 2400xp I want to replace the proc on my other puter. The board is a PC chips M841 (cheap board) socket A . It has a 945 mhz AMD on it now. I want to put my AMD 1.4ghz thunderbird on it. Will it work? :hmmm:

thanks biggD but I am just running with what I've got on that puter. It's made up of left overs and hand me downs. It's my secondary computer.
