dumb question

I haven't played SS:SE in a while. And I just put together a new computer, so I reinstalled the game.

Can someone help me with a simple problem? Here it is:

I used to use my mouse wheel to navigate through weapons. Since I did a fresh install of the game, my settings are gone. The mouse wheel now performs a view up or down.

How to I set my mouse wheel so that it performs weapon select?

I know it's an easy answer, but it's been a while since I've played, and I can't remember how to do it.

When Sam starts go to Options ---> Players and Controls ---> Select the player u want ---> choose customize controls ---> customize buttons! There u can select what button should do what! Just scroll down till u find the next weapon /previous weapon and define the key (in your case mousewheel up/down) and u should be set

I have a suggestion....don't :P

what I do is put some weapons on keys....but you can place 3 weapons on the wheel... wheel up, wheel down, and press wheel ( button 3) ....

mucho faster....in the time you scroll...someone already fragged you... :thumbs:

I use scroll for certain weapons (laser, sniper...). I have buttons for shotty, rockets, knife and minigun. :devil:

anyway nicks right scroll is just wrong doesnt work the only thing i dont get is how gun element doest it without any bottons just scroll so it can be done:wtf: dont know how though lots of skill i assume anyway yes i right click for shotty and caps lock for rockets and click down on scroll for knife those are my weapns and thats pretty much it :)

I like to assign weapons to buttons. I just wanted to reassign my wheel. I sometimes use it, and I&#39;m used to using it for weapons than for looking up and down.

By the way...I have my mouse configured to knife and shotty but never use it. I&#39;m just to used to scrolling too. But then again, it&#39;s second nature by now...play enough and you don&#39;t even have to think about how many clicks to scroll up or down...my fingers know what to do without me telling them. :lol:
