i have xbox live but i want to learn more about ps2 online

X-box live has alot more games that utilize it. I havn't heard of many PS2 games that use their online system.

There is no real PS2 online service. You get online with it, and play online games like you would your PC, using your ISP. I don't have an XBox, but I understand that the XBox live service is more like Sonys PlayOnline service...giving you an email address and chat, and built in game browser and such. But like I said, I don't have an XBox.

PS2 is just regular online play, they have a bunch of games supporting it and its free of charge as long as u have the PS2 modem. Its not as widely supported as Xbox Live, but then again there is no monthly charge.
