I haven't even heard much about the PS3. Just tiny tiny tidbits about it here and there.
Does anyone remember that one commerical they had like a year ago with that one guy who was Playing like a PS9?
He was inside of the games and was swimming around and instead of discs they had these little golden balls. It was a cool commerical. Either that or I got verrry wasted one night.

If they did, I would want to believ it won't be until 4 or 3 years at the least. Sony's got to keep pumping out good games on the PS2 before they can coax me into buying a PS3. Which they probably will no matter what. :D

So I guess I wasn't wasted? Guess I'll have to live a real life for the next 23 years. Then I'll live in the virtual world, only to leave to get Mountain Dew and Pixie Sticks. Won't life be great when you won't have to sweat ! :P

Yeah I remember that commercial too. Some guy told me that Sony is planning to release the PS3 sooner then 2005 to try and get rid of the X-Box but then again it wasn't a very reliable source. I also remember the datee 2005 so maybe that is right who knows. :wacko:

Very intresting.
I highly doubt the X-Box is gonna go places. Sony has dominated the gaming industry and Microsoft should stick to computers.

Well, a I think Nintendo and Sony should work together on some projects, but shouldn&#39;t merge. Both companies have to compete to make the better game or better system. Otherwise, there would be no motovation to make better games. It still would be a cool concept. :)

In a couple of years it will only be Microsoft and Sony in the console gaming industry . .Gamecube is Nintendo&#39;s last console .. There was also a story about Sony wanting to join up with Nintendo . .but Nintendo didnt want to. . :P

As I see it . .the specs of Microsofts later consoles will always be better than the PS2 ... In graphics wise, internet wise, sound, memory, features, etc ..

So when PS9 comes out .. Microsoft latest system will be what PS20 would be ..

I highly doubt that. Aside from Gamecube which is doing about the same as X-Box, Nintendo has total domination of the hand held market and no one&#39;s going to change that for a long time. So its not like they&#39;ll be out of business any time soon.

Yeah, but you gotta admit, Nintendo has been on a steady decline after the PS2. Nintendo&#39;s gotta get a superhit like GTA 3 or something. After that, we all will see Ninetendo sales rise, and Nintendo will be back in the fight. :D

... uh, they haven&#39;t been on a decline. PS1 really killed the end of the N64&#39;s life but with Gamecube they&#39;ve been doing steady business as far as I know... and stuff like Metroid Prime and the new Zelda coming out soon (or semi-soon) won&#39;t hurt them either.

True True. Metriod Prime is indeed gonna be a hit. Hopefully a Superhit. But you can&#39;t deny the fact that the PS2 has been selling better then the Gamecube.
