Hey, last summer, I installed a less than legal copy of Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault. I uninstalled it a few months ago. I just got a legal copy last night. When I try to install the new copy, it says that it's already installed and gives me the Modify,Repair,Remove options...no matter which I do, i can't get rid of teh key telling the CD that it's already installed. I have searched RegEdit for "MOH""MOHAA""Electronic arts" and anything else I could think of, removing every MOH reference I could find. I also used a registry cleaning app to no avail. Who can help?

click on start/run---type regedit

goto hkey_local_machine

expand software and look for eagames or the game name what ever may be there, thats where it is in the registry.

make sure you just delete that game from registry

also you may need to goto c:\ program files and also delete the complete directory where the game is installed. i would actually just do that anyway.

stop using stolen software (well atleast pay for the games damnit because they are the only thing worth paying for)
