I am curious how every did this year?
Did you have to cough up some dough or did you get some back?

I had to shell out 7800 bucks due to casino winnings. :bawling:

Got a good chunk back thanks to a $2000 loss in the stock market and refinancing my house to pay that bitch off

I don't mind paying if I need to.
What I don't understand is I an in a Indian Casino which is to be technical not American soil.
Why should I have to pay the US goverment money that I won there.
Makes no damn sense.

Have to pay. I had a very good year and unfortunately that means my write-offs will not cover the revenue earned. That is a good and bad thing all wrapped up into one lovely taxable package. :cool:

Got a ton back which means I had to fix my deductions so that I wasn't giving the govt a tax free loan.

Hell I write off everything. Dinner, lunches, all my computer stuff, plasma tv, etc. :P
