Post you FPS

While we are experimenting with the settings, how about we all post our FPS along with our system specs so that we can compare them. Maybe some have the same specs but better FPS with different settings for video and background services in windows.
Some folks think that the FPS is capped at the server end. This may be true, we will find out by comparing the slower machines with the uber machines.

To see FPS in UT2004, open the console (press the ~ key - which is to
the LEFT of the 1 Key on the main keyboard area).

Type in STAT FPS <ENTER >

Press ~ again to close the console. It displays CURRENT and AVG FPS.

Mine runs around 55-60 FPS (Online)
and about 40 FPS in instant action

WinXP Pro
AMD 2400
512MB PC2700 Ram
TI4200 4xAPG with 128MB
160MB Maxtor 8MB Cache 7200 RPM

My numbers were online, in about 4 different servers.....Frag&#39;s included....

Probably would be a good idea to do both....

I&#39;m generally getting 50-80, but in some maps, Like Icarus, it drops down to horrible rates, sub-20.

all the 2k3 maps load like normal but the 2k4 ones take FOREVER...ever since i installed 2k4 my computer has been runnin like arse.

Mine was loading them slowly too, but with all the tweaks put on, it&#39;s doing better. The GameCacheMegs, turning the pretty stuff off, and stopping preloading of characters will do a lot for your load times.
