I don&#39;t know what you mean by pay to play on free servers- there is a monthly fee for playing DAOC.

Yes. There are free servers set up from non legal programs. Pretty fun to play on ;P

I know what you mean.. it´s the german daoc eranus freeshard server + community.
Those are some guys who try to imposte the original DAOC. They develope some maps by themselfs and have a testserver running.

I bet this is nothing for real DAOC gamers.
It´s not professional. Their links to the eranus webpages don´t work anymore.
