In the interview that Sal did with Goran Zoricic about the upcoming release of Serious Sam 2 there was mention that Co-op gameplay would definitely make it into the game and that's great because it will add to the game's attraction to a wider audience. What worries me is that Deathmatch wasn't even mentioned or could be left out.

Please choose how important it is to you that deathmatch make it into the game with 1 being the Not Important and 10 being the Very Important.

I've left this poll open to replies so PLEASE keep your comments on the constructive side.

I wouldn't worry. It's a pretty much sure thing that DM will be in there.

i think DM will be in there for sure...the question is what other gametypes are in there...i would really like to see TDM

coop gets old fairly fast, dm never gets old, unless you always win,
which isn't a problem for me....

i will say that i liked the video, and look forward to the game.
nothing like masses of firepower and masses of enemies... :devil:

I think it would be stupid for Croteam to leave out deathmatch. They know themselves that deathmatch is, and still is popular.......to some extent.

TDM would be a great addition.
I also agree with Cas and TwinD........No DM.....no buy......Never did enjoy co-op.

I presume there will be deathmatch, but my concern is more oriented to what it will have out of the box. I got the impression that Croteam feels that an SSSE-like package of a few maps plus better netcode and an editor is enough when we're expecting something more like UT 2003/4.

Personally I will never buy another game without a deathmatch or online competition. The games are just too expensive to just play through. Now if you can have online matches the games keep their enjoyment and the game still retains value. Co-op never held my interest much, other than to help me figure out how to get through a certain level or watch the way others handle situations.

Co Op is a good place to warm up on the keyboard.....and to test different mouse settings before jumping into DM. :)

Coop is ok as long as it´s possible to find new secrets.
But when all is done and every monster is known well.... than it´s booooring.
