Hey Sac........there's alot of helpfull folks in the hardware section here.
You could post your question there.
If I were you, I'd go with a cordless keyboard/mouse combo by logitech.
Maybe check out NewEgg.com.
Good Luck :)

Welcome to the 21st century. Cordless mice here don't suck. In fact, they have a higher refresh rate than a corded mouse. Ask anyone that has tried an MX700 or MX900.

The Mx510 has a faster refresh rate than the Mx700, althought Im not sure about the 900. All I know is the Mx510 (since I got it 2 weeks ago) is better than my other mouse I had. Also looks better :shifty:

I hate cordless myself :D

1 year using the MX700 and I have never run out the batteries or had to change them. But please, feel free to buy a corded mouse such as this:

I prefer my prey to be inferior to me anyways.

After years of laboring with a old mouse, I finally switched to optical a couple of months ago. I got an MX-310 for cheap and it was actually quite nice performance wise but not the most comfortable shape for extended use for me.

Now I have the MX-510 and would give it a  Very comfortable and plenty of buttons, even though I don't use nearly all of them. :P

God, you should not of asked this question. When I asked the guys at {DS} should I go for a MX 500 or 700 a giant brawl broke out. Go with intellimouse 3.0, the others arent worth your sanity.

At least with a corded mouse you have a leash on it.. I've got a Logitech cordless optical mouse and more than once during a game it's flown off the desk onto the floor..
When you don't need a mousepad the boundaries of mouse travel extend onto the keyboard, the floor,etc..
