Yeah, the pictures are nice, and it will be a fun game to play, with some great eye-candy. Remember the waterfall in the original unreal? But, the GeforceFX card might be even more drool-worthy. With ATI&#39;s very fine 9700 pro offering, nVidia knows it needs to put out an answer. I&#39;d bet the initial price will be slightly above &#036;300, and the ATI 9700 Pro can be had for around &#036;265 from the cheapest vendors. For the less-than-heavyweight cards, like a GF3 or even the lesser GF4 boards, prices will be very attractive.

Geforce mx? No. Geforce FX is the newest nvidia chip, erstwhile known as the NV30. It&#39;s been announced officially, and will be available in February. And, yes, it will be better than the GF4, and probably better than the ATI, but that remains to be seen.

That&#39;s where I am, too - I just got my 4400 a few months back, and it serves me fine, but I still have a bit of hardware lust when a new video chipset comes out.
