dont bother on each card. wait a few more weeks and watch the prices drop on a geforce 4 4200. this will satisfy you but gf2 or gf3 will dissapoint you. trust me!!!!

try shutting off antalias in display properties. also we all know sam has pretty good engine so it will warm up your video card. with that after your video card gets hot it will cause lag and slow you down. i always reccomend clearing dust from all fans internal of pc. this goe sthe same as cpu which will slow down if gets too hot. i was looking at the ati 9700 pro but am waiting for the release of geforce fx due mid december. i have a new system every 2-3 months as i get bored and desire speed. one of the benefits of the business.

i have my graphics at 800x600, and believe me, yodeller is practically unplayable with too many players, my frames per second (not from lag) goes way way down when the fighting starts :(.

I have a GE Force 2 and the other day I was playing Unreal and I was getting only 14 fps, so I felt my Card and it was so damn hot, I just grabbed a fan and blew it away. After that I got 20 fps, lucky me...

if you plan to buy a card get one that has the latest technology. directx9 and agp8 x is what i mean. no reason to spend hard earned cah for something that won't be useable in the next generation of games.
feel free to pm me if you need specs on anything

What are your specs? Mine runs fine: P-4 1.6, 256 DDR, Ge-force 3 ti200, soundblaster live 5.1, windows 98se.
If you're having trouble when you're playing on-line only go to http://www.pcpitstop.com/ and run the bandwidth tests and PC performance test. I've used their bandwidth tweaks in the past and have noticed a significant improvement.
I hope this helped. B)
