Help Me With Battlefield 1942

I just downloaded the demo of Betterfield...what is the object of the game? i like to fly the planes. is there anything special about this game and you have to do in it? how do you get rocket launchers and stuff? the settings are confusing with all of the loading and resolution changes...

You have to choose 1 of the 5 classes. Either scout, assault, anti-tank, medic, and engineer. Only anti-tank has RPG. But any class can use any vehicle. Make sure when you change the settings that you click on "Save Settings". It doesn't save by itself.

the demo is control zone, or domanation,,,, control the flags for your side,,, bf1942 had great prospects but the bugs are just to much,,,,, I do like it tho,,, and might buy it,,,, am waiting to see if the next patch fixes it,,,, and yes I have the 1.1 demo patch and it still has no sound,,,, 10 meg patch and they did not fix sound........maybe them croats are not so bad,,,, play it for a few days and see...... :)
