I have an AMD XP2200 at 1822MHz. I have a Dynatron DY1206BH-610 Heatsink / Fan. At full load it runs at 50C-51C. Is this pretty good cooling or does anyone else suggest a better heat sink?

That is fairly warm. I use the Thermalright AX-7. I think Shogun posted a link to a heatsink review .

Don't listen to the The Machine he used to be my friend. ar.. . ar... Yes the AX-7 is a fine heatsink but has become passe as of late. Try the SLK 800 by Thermalright. It's twice as expensive as the AX-7 but is the best aircooler you can find on the market. It even bests the Swiftech MC 462+.

Thanks Ahsumdude. I've not had to buy one in quite some time and don't really know what is the best out there right now.
Good link Shogun.

Yes, the SLK 800 is a badass heatsink. I have the SK-6, it's older brother, and it does a pretty good job in the 48 - 50 range, but ASUS MBs tend to report high.

Here is a lok at the 800 (they have 700 and 600 models, too) in the most comprehensive comparison of heatsinks I've ever found, at Dan's Data.
