I tried last night to set one up, but it wasn't visable. I made sure that the 2 boxes were checked when I used serious runner. I even tried it from sam, didn't know if that was visable or not. Some of you know that I just got a router, would there be something that I have to change to make the server visable? I don't think my router has a firewall, but I could be wrong. It is a DLink DI-604 is that helps any.

did u look for it yourself or have you asked another person "outside" to look for it?

you cant see your own server when you re behind a router.if people from "outside" cant see it you perhaps has to open some ports(cant remember, long time ago :) )

Grimmy your router does have a firewall. I think all you need to forward is the 25600 with the UDP protocol for the IP of the machine you are running the server on. If that doesn't work use 25600-25603 with both TCP & UDP protocols. Those work for me.

That is where I don't know about my router, if it has a firewall and how I can configure it. The book that came with it, just has the instructions to install it and that is it.

Ok, I just looked, it does have a firewall. I will have to play around with it a little to get the settings right where I can open those ports. Thanks for the help guys!
