Man, I'm back playing Q2 again. It's getting more fun since I'm starting to win a bit. Have to get used to the lag though. Know any good server IP's for something that has a bit stronger connection?

Wanna start our own server? I could upload Q2 to the Detroit box, and run a second port. Quake2 takes VERY little resources :)

I'll let you be the administrator if you help me to make it popular.

Sounds cool. I was thinking about asking someone to host a Quake2 server. I get my Quake2 servers from here

Too bad the Sisters server is not that great ping for you, cause I get 40 there with 16 people :D

I have quake 2 but never played it. There seem to be a lot of people in the games you guys post. Will my crap connection handle it?

When Hammer played it a lot he said he played on modem. I see players with 250 ping + do quite well. If you get good enough with the delay, youll be well good :D

I'll get it up and running maybe later today or early tomorrow. I'll set it to 15 players. The Detroit connection is quite strong. I ping like 70-80 there...regular game ping.

I'll PM you with the RCON password and such. I'll even run HAMMERtime on it and see if I can find HAMMERtime 2. :)
