Hard drive ?

Ok I bought my Mom a new hd and here's my ?
She has an Hp running Win me.
What I want to do is take her old one out and reformat and startover.
Will I be able to do this with her recovery disk that hp gave her or do I need to take another route?

ok Who first question why Win Me it sucks lol, I know you can start from a
win98 boot disk just start with cd drivers and away you go , but with ME
I realy don't know.

got it figured out man.
gonna do momma a solid.
was worried about sound drivers.
I just formatted as normal and put it Win XP for her.
I was amazed that Xp found sound drivers for it.

I'd take Win98SE or XP over ME anyday. If her machine has the power to push XP, that's the best choice.
