YEah it is, u get used to it so u dont overaim. Most people like I beleive DARK Levithian has it set to that, thats where I got my tips from :P

Learn peoples paths, when you play with them long enough, you will learn the routes that they take through a map. This proves victorious to me. Also, the right click is my short cut to the double shotty. THat and the RL, o and can&#39;t forget the knife, are the only weapons I need.

Use your ears. Although since mostly I&#39;m just playing for fun I like to play with winamp running, even if it does make me not hear someone trying to knife me in the back sometimes.


Oh and my great weakness is the pistol. Use the pistol against me for easy kills&#33;&#33;&#33;

Like Hobbes said, listen for other players. I like to be able to hear footsteps, elevators, and what weapons are being used by the other players.

I noticed no one mentioned power ups. I try to keep my armor and health at 100. Sometimes that means running away from a fight, it&#39;s better to to power (back) up then to loose a battle by one bullet. I&#39;ll grab the 200&#39;s on LT if everyone else is taking them, otherwise I&#39;ll "try" to leave them alone.
Wait......I&#39;ll take that back....I always take the 200 power ups in the Hole map. I just can&#39;t help myself&#33; :D

On the subject of weapons, the tommy gun on SSFE&#39;s desert map, is the most effecient. The shotty seems to work the best on the SSSE maps.
The only advice I have for a weapon&#39;s use, is the knife. Swing early, most players swing at the moment of contact, it&#39;s best to swing just before contact.

Listen to me :rolleyes: , I&#39;m trying to sound like I know something :P , I better give up now. :lol:

My tip on low death counts is run away. Don&#39;t feel obligated to kill the person who is shooting you. Completely change your direction and get away. If you don&#39;t know where the fire is coming from you already lost the battle when you try to fight back. (most of the time)

My tip on low death counts is run away. Don&#39;t feel obligated to kill the person who is shooting you. Completely change your direction and get away. If you don&#39;t know where the fire is coming from you already lost the battle when you try to fight back. (most of the time)[/b][/quote]

Many things was said on this thread that will help and when fighting against a player in a
Shotgun dual, try to stay low and move to your right and left as quickly as possible but if you find a player who shoots with great aim pull back while shooting and move left to right. Armor & health is a major factor and when to pull out of a fight to get health or armor.

Bottom line is that screenies NEVER get posted.
We just frag, chat, and try to learn something and have fun.

In OUTLAWS servers...
If u SPAM, u will win &#33;&#33;&#33;
I tried it once (with alias) and won some "good ping" Americans.
ONLY GRENADES, ans sometimes rockets&#33;&#33;&#33;
In those laggy servers it&#39;s the best way.
When I play in European servers, it feels like there are MUCH MORE skill players.
Shotty is useless in OUTLAWS lag&#33;
In EUROPEAN SERVERS NO ONE CAN WIN IF HE SPAMS&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;

I dont have a really high ping, but not low either
mostly around 280

I still kill everyone that&#39;s close to me with the shotty (most of the time)
Sometimes when i&#39;m low on health I use the rocketlaunger to keep people away from me, till I have some health&#33;

Spammers dont win&#33;&#33;&#33;

If you wan to spam again in OUTLAWS, try playing me, with your spam

Of course.
It&#39;s not lagging when there&#39;s only few players.
And spamming isn&#39;t good then.

But it was LT (not the best place to spam) with 8 ppl when I was spamming and still won.

When there&#39;s only Europeans I like to play there.
Otherwise.. NO&#33;&#33;

But really..... I don&#39;t think there&#39;s much skill players (or there are few but they can&#39;t give their best because of the damn LAG&#33;&#33;) in OUTLAWS servers.

That other OUTLAWS just can NOT handle 11 players&#33;&#33;&#33;

All T4M players have lag, but still play in the OUTLAWS server

We do pretty well in it too&#33;
So dont use lag for an excuse, most of the time we are shotty players, but sometimes rockets are good for the situation

I cant play yodellor, cause of the lag, and hole and fortress are a bit choppy too, still Fortress is my favourite map

I think OUTLAWS server for 12 people is too much

whenever #9 or #10 joins, I cant move and have to leave the server :(

Dood 100? Man a little movement must be a full turn. I use 50%, I&#39;ve pretty much got my 180 turn around shot down.

well, maybe an alias could be a challenge to you then.
Instead of knowing how a certain person plays, an alias will keep you guessing.

It doesn&#39;t matter to me either way anymore,
but I don&#39;t think alias wins count for anything because you have an unfair (I think) advantage when you know your opponent but not vice versa.
