What a day. I woke up to my wife calling me saying she was going to the ER (luckily she works in one of the top hospitals in the nation). After 14 hours in the ER...yes, 14...we found things weren't as bad as they first seemed and it looks like she will be back home tomorrow.

So hopefully tomorrow I will get the changes up that I wanted to do today. Now it's time for bed. Who knew spending the day staring at a wall would make someone so tired...

......zzzzzzz

Hope she is doing better Sal. I will be thinking for ya and her.

Not to go off topic, but this is a little funny, I spoke to Lev today, and he said that you were home sick. Anyway, hope your wife gets better soon!!

Sorry to hear that SAL! :( I can feel your pain, I've been spending a little time waiting around in the hospital myself the last few days.

He didn't know where I was either until late in the day. Thought maybe I had dumped him for a younger version of him.

She went in for very severe stomach pain. They thought it was either kidney stones or an apendicitis but luckily it was just kidney swelling, which could be treated with sweet, sweet drugs.

Sounds like your wife is in good hands. We wish her a speedy recovery. :)

Do the doctors know what caused the swelling?

glad it isn't anything worse. My bro had his appendix rupture when he was 7 years old, he was fine one minute and then really crabby and in pain the next. It was a scary time, didn't know what was going on till we took him to the hospitol.

My mother has also made many a trip to a hospital sadly. Last year or the year before she was in the hospital for a 2 ponth period for cancer treatments. It wouldn't have been as bad as it was if she had been at the local hospital, not one 200 miles away.

Yeargh, lucky it wasn't a kidney stone. I got one of those about two months ago. Not fun at all.

My wife had a similar episode, it ended up being endomitriosis......she had to have all of her "girlie" stuff yanked out.

That would explain why you have been so busy.

I am glad to hear that she is doing fine and now
for both of you to rest and to relax.

I'm glad she is alright. That crap can be very scary. A few years ago my wife started vomiting and shaking and screaming. I thought she had something really wrong and it turned out to be a kidney stone. Very very painful but not life threatening. She has been back to the hospital for them 2 more times since then. She has learned to like Vicodin!
