I first saw this new cooler about two months ago, But Thermaltake (http://www.thermaltake.com) was being very tight-lipped about their new SubZero4G (http://www.thermaltake.com/products/subzero/subzero4g.htm) at the time. They were wanting to announce it at the recently held Comdex show. At the time I couldn't figure out what the PCI black box was for, Now I know, It's used to control the TEC (Peltier plate). The PCI card has an onboard microprocessor and thermometers to detect miniscule changes in atmosphere pressure, temperature, and humidity. This way, the PCI card never lets the peltier get below the dew point of the particular environment and no condensation is created. Thermaltake claims it "Maintains CPU temperature at 26°C for normal application and during idle". They make models for Intel P4 478, AMD K7 and latest K8. I really like the way it attaches to all three notches instead of just one on the AMD processor sockets.
I've been trying to find a full review on this product and can't find one. I did find this one mention of it over at the Overclockersclub (http://overclockersclub.com/comdexfall2002.php) website.
A search for SubZero4G at Pricewatch (http://www.pricewatch.com/) turned up nothing, So I have no idea what this dude is gonna cost.
