We tried the completely open policy...it didn't work.

We tried the nice approach...it didn't work.

We tried not being here...it didn't work.

Since a small portion of our community has taken it upon themsleves to drag the rest of us down to their level, we will now draft up some forum rules complete with punishments. I will be working with the admins and coordinators do draft these rules. I must say that I am absolutely amazed at how some of you have repayed us for the hundreds of dollars and man-hours it has taken us to give you this home.

You'll see the rules in the next day or two. To the 90% of you that use these forums for what they should be, thank you and I will make sure these rules will not effect you.

Actually I think Rodzilla was content to let us go about our business unmolested over there until he started getting pressured by the OT weenies.

Hmm. Tough call Sal. When you have a group of people from all over the world and all ages sometimes the maturity factor comes in. Good luck with the rules, I&#39;m glad it&#39;s not my burden.

By I do truly enjoy this group, my first clan, and for the most part I try not to take everything seriously. I&#39;ve learned alot here and have been entertained even more&#33;&#33; I think the powers that be are doing a good job.

And yes, an online community needs rules. It&#39;s the same thing as laws; people couldn&#39;t survive without &#39;em. I think. :unsure:
