WTF!?!?

Why the hell cant I make the background invisible for my avatar! I make a new file, make it have an invisile background. Paste the image and save it...post it here and it has a freaking white backgound!? I HATE MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!

................................anyone know what I can do?

You have to save it as a gif file, jpg will not work with transparency. :)
