What should it be set at?
Currently I have it at 64mb.

I have a Ati 9000 pro 128mb ddr video card
along with 512mb ddr 2700

I have options all the way up to 512mb.

Are you asking about the AGP aperture size setting in your bios?

If so, The rule of thumb is to set it at half of your system ram. I've run benchmarks on my system and it runs best set at 128mb even though I have 512mb of system ram.

Does anyone know much about tweaking the bios.
I want to squeeze some more juice out of this thing.

This is an excellent site for bios tweaking. The BIOS Optimization Guide (http://www.rojakpot.com/)

Be very careful while making changes and don't change too many at one time, Also take notes of what your original settings were just in case.

You can feed a man once or you can teach him how to fish for himself and feed him for life! :P (Sorry bro, I always wanted to use that line. )

OK lets get serious,
Check these settings, These work on mine (Award Bios) and should work on yours also.
Video bios shadow = Disabled
System bios cacheable = Disabled
Video ram cacheable = Disabled
AGP Aperture Size = 128M
AGP Mode = 4x
AGP Fast write = Enabled
Bank interleave = 4 bank
Check your memory CAS type and set it in the bios to what type you have. i.e. CAS 2.5 or 2
You should have a memory setting that lets you set it to like Normal, Turbo, etc... Set it to Turbo

I'm prob'ly forgetting some other settings, But these are the ones I can remember right now and they are the first ones most tweak guides will tell you to check. Does anyone have any others?

Please remember to take notes of settings, make a change, reboot & test, make a change, reboot & test, etc......
It's a long process, But worth it in the end. ;)

BTW Do you have SiSoft Sandra?
