Yay! It started sleeting here around 10PM. That kinda sucked because we went to the candlelight service at 11pm and the Suburban was covered with 1/8th inch of ice. The roads were slick as hell too. But when we got out of church there was about 1 inch of snow on the ground and we're supposed to get a total of 4-6 inches by midday Christmas. That rocks! The best part is I get to use my $500 snowblower that I bought 3 years ago after an especially snowy winter and have only used 3 times since. Wheee! :woot:

I hope I can get it started.  :santa:

Good for you Sirc!!! If you have any problems getting the snow blower to start try squirting some wd40 into the carb. that usually works for something that hasn't been started in a while.
To Nob Thank God it doesn't snow to much in LA !!! I hate that sh1t.

Yeah, but your car isn't gonna rust out in 3-5 years like ours do. We're in the salt zone. They dump a sh*t load of it on the raods every year. I wish they would use sand/gravel like they do in the northern states like Minnesota (sp). That damn salt is a killer.

I take pretty good care of it and run it every fall for a bit. Plus it has an electric starter on it, so I won't get give myself a heart attack from yanking on the cord 30 times. :D

It melts the ice and snow. Unless it get below like 20 F, and then everything freezes anyway.

It can get cold here. It has gotten down to -20 below with wind chills of -60 F. That's pretty damn dangerous. You can literally get frostbite walking to your car if you don't cover up well. It doesn't happen very often though. Our last few winters have actually been pretty mild, with only 1 or 2 days in the single digits.

Well the middle of Alberta seems to be a snow free oasis this year and I don't mind. Too many past christmasses I remember were plenty white enough. I don't mind a brown Christmas but the girlfriend hates it.
