WHAT EVER YOU DO MAN! Do not play hockey with that injury.....
I kinda broke my elbow playing, hurt like hell, 10 minutes of screaming pain, I use that pain and adrediline and start kicking everyone's ass. You know why? I never ran out of energy or breath cause all my **** was in overload! not saying you can do that diss, but get better! Even though you are old, it should not take long to heal ;)
It didnt take me long when I broke my stuff, but I was also 17 then. I am 20 now!

I tore up the cartiledge and the joint fluid leaked. Formed a spinalglenoid cyst that was compressing my brachioradial nerve.
They figure it was from too much softball or too much weight lifting.

Thanks for the info (although I didn't understood that joint nerve stuff...).
