I saw it last weekend....It was alright...nothing special....not enough dragon action for me but not terrible. I'd wait to rent it first definately before I'd buy it. B)

I felt the dragon effects, while not perfect, were among the best we've seen. McConaughey was really into his role which was a crying shame as this baby would have ended up better WITHOUT a storyline; plot holes don't normally bother me but this bordered on the truly ridiculous. And Christian Bale, who i normally rate quite highly, was bland, bland, bland. What a waste.

That was one mean shot of the dragon atop the castle, however. [thumbs up]

To my mind, the best dragon movie to date has been Dragonslayer - now THAT was one bad ass dragon. What's more, it looked fantastic! And a model no less. Even today it holds up well, despite the fact it dates back to '81. Go check it out kids.
