What's the difference

What's the difference between the two quake 3 games?...I saw them at best buy and didn't know that there were 2 different versions of quake 3....
Me want....just don't want to have to buy 2 games.

Q3 Team Arena adds more multiplayer team modes of play & weapons. LINK (http://www.idsoftware.com/games/quake/quake3-teamarena/)

I just bought Q3 Gold @ Walmart ($20) which includes both of them just in case ............

Quake3 Team Arena is an expansion. It adds in all team play stuff. Hence "Team Arena". It adds new models, sounds, weapons, levels, game modes, powerups etc etc.
