So far I like the game. The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is a lot deeper. Your neighbors make a big difference in this version. Also the game is a hell of a lot harder. It's hard to make money and I can't seem to get my city above 8,000 people :D

Did you play SC3000 Sal ? I know you haven't had much time with it but is it as good or better ?
It was a toss up between SC4 and MOO3 as for which one to get, but MOO is delayed again :bandhead:

I have SC3000, but to be honest, I don't remember enough to say if it is better. Either way SC4 is still damn fun.

I like the game and will give it another go tonight i ran out of money last night with 3000 people...but the detail is amazing

I think I found the trick. You have to start doing mostly low-medium density zones. So far I have about 5000 people and making abou $1,000/month.

I seem to be having problems making money also. :blink: I remembered your post and started slapping down some low residential zones and things stared going a little better. Going to try again when I have more time.

all about SimCity2000 baby. I made a city called Oceanville, filled the entire map available to me, made over 60,000 income and got arcodomes all without cheats :D
