For what it's worth, I got this when I started up ASE tonight. Those of you who do not have ASE auto-update should probably do a manual update.

Yeah I saw that to, but I have never had problems loading up mods or using ASE to play Quake3 games.

Looking in the Quake files, I don't see a "mod directory." Is it under another file?
I don't have one either. But then I don't think I have any mods installed. I have a folder called "Excessive", but it doesn't have the key file in it anyway.

There is no folder called mods. Other folders like excessive are mods. Just put them in your quake3 arena folder. For instance I have Q3Fortress mod, and the folder is q3f in my q3 directory. So when I load up quake3 and go to load mods, q3f will be in the listing.

Yeah I know. When tthey say "mod" directory there talking about that certain mod that doesnt load and I told you how the mods were setup. Silly
See if you guys read it, it says IF you get a mistyped error key check that certain mods folder and see if there is a file called q3key. If there is, delete it. The q3key file (which contains your cdkey) should only be in your baseq3 folder.
