ok, how to get past the stupid catacomb level? the sub boss at the end has me stuck...

with the ones i have seen, they all have something that can take damage
only at certain times. i can't figure out what it is for this guy...

Jim I don't have the game yet, but I can say that in the demo, the "Thor" like boss had a health bar(it was a circle around the compass). This boss here does not have any health bar, so I think that you either have to wait it out and dodge for a bit, or activate something. Also, why are you using that weapon? Use the minigun and shoot every area of his body. If nothing "flashes" when it gets hit, than I think you have to activate something first.

lol, at this stage you have shotty, stake, grenades. I have emptied the
gun on him. The painkiller is actually a powerful weapon. you can easily
clean up crowds of the weaker enemies, and it has the benefit of pulling
the souls nearby for collection, rather than throwing them across the
room.... the SP is great fun, you should get the game. the MP though
is more of an issue...

I don't have the game,but I heard
Look above him,look for spikes or something,then shoot them with the painkillers secondary attack and you should do that under him to hurt him
