Its in California, so its quite a trip for people on the East Coast, i hear its alot of fun and many of the major gaming companies will go to show their stuff off. Its prolly the biggest gaming related even every year in the US. I would go but there are alot of lines (or so i hear) and it would take too damn long to get there and its pretty expensive (lodging etc) Have fun SAL, be sure to take some pics!
