can you guys tell me how to switch trought CSG modes? i know that button P is polygon mode, and its Yellow. but i cant move objects then, when i am trying to do, my textures moves only. that means i need that RED CSG mode. but dont know how to switch it without adding new object :(

Use q to move a item in co-ords by X/Y/Z

switching between CSG modes:

E - switch to entity mode
S - switch to sector mode
P - switch to polygon mode
. (dot) - switch to vertex mode

My question is how to switch to LAYER mode without creating new brush/primitive. I have one brush in wrong place, i want to move it to another place (move with mouse), is that possible???? All other editors allow me to move brushes at anytime... if this editor is so strong why it dont allow me to do?
i know, if i am pressing ENTER/RETURN button, editor switches to layer mode, but with new primitive, so i cant unselect it till i am not finished this mode... that sux big time

Well, to make layers, use q on polygon, and select layer, and prctice, how I learned to map as good, was from Thunder Call Base(Secret Name as Terons Collective Basics)

Your gonna have to remove the brush with remove primative, and next time, make a brush with join worlds...

now say me how are you doing this:
creating primitive, finishing CSG... texturing. making another, another... then you want to move first brush to another place. how do you do that? is that possible?

nevermind... all i need is typen few posts up
if thats hard to explain, then this feature is disables.... that means this editor isnt my style.... i hate when people cant repair mistakes without deleting current brush, then making new one!
IS THAT SO HARD TO SAY HOW TO MOVE BRUSHES (primitives, cubes, spheres, etc)... how do you making your maps without that???
