Quake is you want consistency and a bigger community, Sam if you wanna have fun and learn to tolerate spammers, pup whore etc.
I would say Q3, because after Sam, all online games seem like they suxor as bad as it does. :P

UT 2004. Most stable on-line. Largest community, thousands of servers, built in voice chat and IRC, great support!

But huge resource hog, must have decent PC.

Buy SSSE with your pocket change ;)

nicely said jim. Fox, go with Quake, it's the best I've played so far with dial up. I dunno about UT2003 or 4, but i know jus from today playin with yur system specs that it would probably give yur hard drive a hernia....:rolf1:

I think it depends on what you are looking for..if you are looking for single player, multiplayer, large community/small community, or cheapest and best for your money..
