How to beat 2nd general

The swamp one, I don't know how to damage it, I can take it down 1/4 of the health but I'm not sure how I did lol, but I can do it all the time. How do I beat it? Just got the game yesterday.

Ok, its really easy, 2nd easiest boss in the game (Guardian is easier).

You see those bubbles spawning in the swamp at his feet? Hit them with a weapon (shotgun is best) and watch them explode. Do it when he is near them and they blow up and damage him.

What is harder to explain, but useful, is when you see large bubbles all around you, not breaking, blow them all up and he will become solid. Then beat him down.

Oh ok thanks. I'll try it out in a bit. K on my third try of knowing how to kill him I killed him.
