I wanted to buy it until I heard of all the probs. Until I hear positive feedback form the launching and netcode I wont be buying it.

Hey MOD. Good to hear from you. I agree with Sep. There are too many problems with it, for example, the demo would load up on my computer and then it would just return me to my XP screen.

Lots of other people have had it happen to them as well. My next purchase will be UT2004 i think.

In the meantime sam still ownes.

Nope...sorry...not here either. I downloaded the demo and had nothing but problems with it.
Right now...when i'm not playing Sam, I'm playing UT2004.

Was nice playing ya term my game has changed drastically in pk
with no crouch its all out sirc style war in pk hehe
but hopefully the 1.1 update helps with the netcode and some other issues like the damn respawns in the same spot

im also playing 2004 what an improvement from 2003 i love the speed of 2004 but i have shelved it for the time being while i learn pk

HMMMM

i only has some problems with the game loading properly for the first few days
i contacted christos at pk and he helped me within 24 hrs awesome service by the way .
i know that the netcode isnt to par yet but the single player game is just amazing
the maps are sweet there is hidden stuff everywhere and well the gameplay is pretty smooth (except no crouch :bandhead: )hehe :thumbs:
anyways if you want a great oldschool quake ish samish game pk is the one that your looking for.. and worth the purchase..
