I got a problem. Every so often my computer will comne up with NT authority message, and then shut down.

I believe it is some form of virus, but i have formatted and used a newly purchased version of XP home.

Any ideas as to what is wrong?

LSA export version crashes due to worm... yes its a virus, you will got those errors till you download ms hotfix

its a W32.Blaster.worm, you are getting NT authority message and error at C:&#092;windows&#092;lsass.exe and PC turns off after 1 min
its updated worm, cant wait till most of people with weak FW will get this one

Now im stuck with the problem of my internet freezing after about 10 mins.
Any ideas on that?

Ive formatted 4 times, reinstalled all my drivers. So im kinda stuck now

try to download newest IE from microsoft.com
hmm i dunno what else
maybe try to search google for IE freeze fix

it also can be your network card drivers or config stuff
maybe thats an other virus again,,, so search at http://symantec.com for removal
it also can be your HDD, if its broken or have new bad sectors on it, so you need to check them out and disallow writing at those sectors. dont ask me how to do that lol...

I found on a virus scan :

w32.sasser.b.worm x 13

Dos agobot.gren
worm.agobot.ra

Seem to have removed them ok.

Thanks for all your help, i really am kind of a noob with all this virus stuff.

What firewall you recommend?

but... actually iam not using any firewall, many serious features will be disabled if i will own FW
