Repairing Windows

Hey, PJ has completely lost windows, and needs to repair. He can't find his Windows disc.

He is running XP Home and I am running XP Pro. For the purposes of repairing Windows, willl my disk work just fine, or does he need a copy of Home to repair?

I am pretty sure you need a XP Home disc for that repair. ;)

software usually needs same software to effectively fix problem.

Using the XP Pro CD would upgrade him from XP Home.
