www.fatal1ty.com. Mr. Wendell was kind enough to post his configs for Q3, CS and UT2003. Download them and see how 'the master' plays.

I plan on going over it again...I really didn't look at his mouse settings or anything, plus, he has some nice servers in his favorites that I want to copy. There was a map loaded with PU's and weapons, so I played that a little. Some poor guy jumped in (1 vs 1) server...and met the business end of the redeemer pretty often.

his favorite servers wont be of much use for me...cause im from europe

i will check the mouse settings again...but i think it depends on the mouse you use, and what you prefer

but if you find something interessting pls tell me :)

I will certainly do that.

its all a matter of preferences, "pros" turn down the graphics so they can get better framerates, etc. most of us like to see the eye candy, i personally like the graphics in the middle, enough so i have nice graphics yet still pull 60-100fps. ive seen him play before, he uses a huge mousepad with his mouse sensitivity way down and moves the mouse all over like hes having convulsions. apparently its supposed to be more smooth movement on the screen. personally i prefer a super sensitive mouse. my mouse sensitivity is set so high that i barely move my mouse (1-2") throughout an entire ut2k3 game, one erratic movement and im spinning like nancy kerrigan on crack!

That's funny! I can't handle that. I keep mine fairly low, and use a pretty good amount of real estate. When I got the MX700, I had to redo everything, cause that sucker out performed my other optical.
I have mine set at 2.50 for UT2003, and I think 2% for SSSE.

im at work now so i cant remember exactly but i think mine for ut2k3 is set between 6.5 and 7%, thats with a microsoft optical intellimouse so its quite sensitive

Good Grief! I couldn't handle that. I would get motion sickness.

I have a mouse sensitivity of 6 in UT2k3 and 50% in Sam

I'd seen guys in Wolfenstein who would turn the environment down to what looked like a 16-color washout of everything, and it will make the enemy easier to see, which is the real benefit, apart from frame rate. Most tourneys and leagues restrict the parameters for the visuals, so people were more close to a level playing field. If I were playing for money, I'd take every advantage available, but playing for fun, I like to see the pretties.

If I had SSSE at 76% I would surely vomit. I was in a LAN game a couple years back, CS and Q3...played for 6 hours straight. Had to go lay down because I got to nautious. I get sea sick too. I am a big sissy.

This is what I do too, I don't have tons of room on my desk so I keep my sensitivity high enough so that I never have to pick up and re-center my mouse. That split second when you pick up your mouse = death. Also I like to be able to do a 180 with just a flick of the wrist, not by dragging my whole arm across the desk.

I am going to have to try that. I would really have to get used to the control at that high a setting, and I am used to what I have now.
BUT, I personally have had my balls slapped by hobbes, so there must be something to it.

theres another great possibility in ut2k3 to vomit... play around with the fov-setting...for example 120...this makes me
