NEW YORK (May 18) - Tony Randall, the comic actor best known for playing fastidious photographer Felix Unger on "The Odd Couple," has died. He was 84.

Randall died in his sleep Monday night at NYU Medical Center of complications from a long illness, according to his publicity firm, Springer Associates. The actor developed pneumonia after undergoing heart bypass surgery in December.

So sad, but he lived a good long life.

Wow that's too sad. Loved watching the Odd Couple. :(

Kinda freaky, I was just watching a show on Sunday about older celebs like Tony Randall & Larry King that had married younger wives. Larry King even married his new wife on the eve of a artery-clearing angioplasty procedure. What a honeymoon that must have been.

This is Tony with his wife Heather Harlen. Rich old dude with a bad ticker + Much younger wife = Richer much younger widow.

He has a kid about my daughter's age too (4 years old or so). That is irresponsible as hell if you ask me, having kids when you know you won't be around for their high school graduation....

Rest in Peace.

RIP, Mr. Randall...

To the widow, welcome to the Anna Nicole Club.... :shifty:

Poor child, though!! :( I agree, with Clean, irresponsible as heck at his age to have a child!!! Good thing mom has a long life to live, still!

Just found out those two kids were the only ones he had. He told Jack Klugman after his wife got preggers in 1997 "Guess what? The machinery still works!"
