pollywogs/tadpools/baby frogs

[Seriously Deadly]

I just caught a whole lot of pollywogs/tadpools/baby frogs but dont know what to feed , i searched google and msn , can any 1 help?

They eat whatever is in that pond water (or wherever you fished them out from) prolly algae.

i gave them lettuce

i'm not a biologist but i think that lettuce is too hard (dense) for them to consume.

just scoop up some pond water with some green stuff in it, thats what they eat.
they cant eat lettuce because they dont have teeth.

fish food might work if you mix it up really good with water, try putting some fish food in a jar with water and shake it up really good untill the food is all disolved in the water then put it in with the tadpolls.

Yes it is.
There aren&#39;t a lot of them around where I live. I&#39;ve only seen two since moving here 8 years ago.
I see (what I call) tree frogs quite often. And an occasional salamander. :)

Yes, it was that small. I&#39;d have to say it was a very young frog. It probably ended up growing 5-6 times that size...provided some rodent didn&#39;t eat it first...:)
